We will begin with an Opening Ceremony followed by a Sacred Plant-Infused dinner. Over dinner, we can all get to know each other a little better. After Dinner, there will be beautiful music performed by Patrick McAndrew where we can listen to sweet melodies, prepare to camp for the night and drift into Sacred Plant provided dreams.

Upon awakening in the AM, there will be yoga with Patrick McAndrew. After yoga, there will be a light breakfast followed by a tour of the Willow Crossings Farm gardens by Keith Morris.

Lunch will be served at noontime which will lead into a Sacred Plant Medicine making class with Rochelle Baca. Rochelle will show you how to create tincture, salves, teas and how to use Sacred Plant in our everyday lives in eating. This will be followed by a Closing Ceremony.

About the site:

WIllow Crossing Farm is the longest running permaculture and agroforestry research farm in Vermont and hosts one of the region's most diverse collections of fruits, nuts, berries, vines, medicinal herbs, and ethnobotanically important plants. We produce organic Cannabidiol Rich smokable hemp, Cannabis Nursery Starts, and other plant medicines and nursery plants. It is the birthplace of the Medicine Womyn Retreat and Prospect Rock Permaculture.

We are productive habitat fostering wildlife refuge and pollinator sanctuary, and located along the Lamoille River, and intersect with the Rail Trail and the long trail. Travel to the retreat by boat or bike is recommended and earns a tuition discount incentive! ✨

Patrick is a Yogini and beyond. He is a walking, talking, talented, musical, Spiritual being here to help us on our journey and he teaches yoga like no other! A certified Kripalu yoga teacher, Patrick has been practicing yoga since his teens. Patrick brings the magic of the ages into a gentle and lively practice that is completely relevant to today. He uses unique postural sequences, deep devotion and a light hearted sense of humor to help each student connect to yoga’s history, philosophy and community.

Like a modern male incarnation of Saraswati (the Hindu Goddess of music and knowledge), Patrick leads Kirtan (call-and response ecstatic chanting) and often accompanies yoga classes on guitar, harmonium and ukulele. He shares his love of life through music and movement. We are beyond honored to have Patrick join us this weekend.

Keith has been an 'out of the closet' cannabis activist since 1992, and lifelong ecology and native rights activist. Since 1996 has applied his love of nature, culture and experience with direct action towards permaculture and ecological design . Since 2000, he has worked professionally as a designer, builder and grower of ecologically-appropriate permaculture systems in cities and countrysides around the world. He's started the permaculture education programs at the University of Vermont, the Yestermorrow Design Build School, St. Mike's College, Sterling College, Paul Smiths College, USAID and elsewhere and worked as an activist and on behalf of just and ecologically regenerative food & medicine systems in New Zealand, Mexico, Chistiana, Holland, Chile, Argentina, Nigeria, and Ghana.

Keith is the founder of Willow Crossing Farm and Prospect Rock Permaculture. Most importantly, Keith is a father to two wonderful daughters and he educates (and learns constantly from) the next generation. We are honored to be able to utilize his structures and plantings to hold our experience, and to let this sacred ancient Abnaki farmland support us all.

Alan Fleischner--

Alan has been in almost every aspect of the food industry for the past 40 years from being a buyer, as well as being an exhibitor, at the Fancy Food show in New York City to working in restaurants, on the floor as well as in the kitchen, to manufacturing and retailing his own products.  Alan has been a food vendor at festivals, worked in small restaurants up to running a line in a large 120 table Times Square NYC restaurant where 2000 plates would pass through his hands on an average lunch!

Alan has been a cannabis activist for more than 3 decades, advocating its use for medicinal and recreational purposes.  Alan has been a proponent for medicine that is clean, affordable and potent!

Alan started his 'food adventure' as a carnivore, but now, he creates flavorful dishes that are vegan and organic in addition to being infused!
