Please join us on Saturday, November 5, 2022 in learning how to create Sacred Plant Cannabis Medicine with Rochelle Baca.  New York is welcoming back Sacred Plant Cannabis Medicine into society sociably and responsibly after its 94-year prohibition beginning in 1927. May we all just take a moment to realize what we have endured to get to this point and how great of a milestone we have achieved at this time! Let us celebrate by learning how to make & create Sacred Plant medicines from your very own garden (or dispensary).  Together, Rochelle will guide us through a day of hands-on learning of some of the many ways you can utilize Sacred Plant Cannabis Medicines in your everyday life.

Rochelle's passion to her Sacred Plant ally has led her to have the ability to finally visit New York State safely and legally to celebrate, honor, deeply connect, and teach what it is this Sacred Plant has to offer. This is not just about getting "high" anymore. That being said, recreational use is not discouraged at all.

Together in this class, we will be infusing & decocting with cannabis in oil that will become our salve and making cannabis tincture, all while we discuss Cannabis Medicines and how it can help the body's systems. Rochelle's husband Alan (the tech guy and quite a medicine maker himself) has helped Rochelle put together a presentation that we will watch as we sit and sip some tea. We will discuss how Sacred Plant Cannabis Medicine can help treat many different ailments using constituents like CBD, CBN, THC-A & of course THC with great, positive results.  We will learn how to extract Cannabis Medicine's non-psychoactive properties, as well as psychoactive properties.  

 

Each registered participant who brings their own Cannabis for creating medicine in class will go home with their very own (2) ~ 8 oz mason jars of infused medicine & also a community salve that we will all contribute to and make together. If you have an analysis report, we can teach you how to calculate the maximum % of constituents in your formulation and the amount per dose.

 

**CANNABIS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.  If you would like to participate in making medicine, you must bring your own!**

The class will include:

    -Understanding psychoactive and non-psychoactive constituents in our medicine makings

    -A basic understanding on how to make:

    -Infusions

    -Salves

    -Tinctures

A full color printed notebook with Handouts will be provided.

    

Guidelines:

• Attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

• Cannabis will not be provided.  If you would like to participate in making medicine, you must bring your own!

• NY State law allows possession of up to 3 ounces of cannabis flower and up to 24 grams of concentrated cannabis (oils, tincture, edibles, vapes, etc.) per adult 21 years of age or older. Please do not exceed legal limits. Safety first!
